Expansion of Cancer Prevention Services to Rural and Medically Underserved Populations
- This award mechanism seeks to support the coordination and expansion of evidence based services to prevent cancer in underserved populations who do not have adequate access to cancer prevention interventions and health care, bringing together networks of public health and community partners to carry out programs tailored for their communities. Projects should identify cancers that cause the most burden in the community and use evidence based models to prevent and control these cancers. Initial Expansion Award: Maximum of $2M; Maximum duration of 36 months. Maintenance Expansion Award: Maximum of $2.5M; Maximum duration of 60 months.
